Kamishimo is one of Japanese formal kimonos for men.
It is usually made by hakama and katagi, and you put kosode on kamishimo.
When katagi is made, there are 4 family marks on the back, both shoulders and waist around.
At the edo era, it was the highest class dress for samurai with non- career and common people with a high social position followed it as well.
Even now, you can see it at Japanese traditional performing arts and festivals.
