Homongi is a formal style of kimono. Homongi does not have as a long history as other kimonos.
It was made as a visiting dress which was like western did in the meiji era.
Eba is...
Eba is characterized as pattern making.
At first, cut a kimono texture in size and sew temporary.
Then draw paintings on it concerning about pattern matching after sewing completely.
After that, undo it and color it. This is the biggest difference between homongi and tsukesage kimono.
Uses are for wedding ceremony (without relatives), tea ceremony, formal party and any gorgeous occasions.
It can be wearable for both married and unmarried women.
